The AquaClear Impeller for Filter is a replacement part for the AquaClear Power Filter. Impellers play an important role in the filtration process, helping to filter out debris for a cleaner aquarium. Water is drawn into the extension tube, passes through to the motor and then gets pumped out of the impeller assembly. This replacement piece is easy to install by gently twisting the motor unit to detach it and then removing the impeller from the well.
